Is there any discussion/desire to pre-build the Cisco patch into the freepbx build?

I would like to implement this patch but did not want to get away from the freepbx install, an option to chose a pre-build asterisk build, or make that the standard would be preferred.

No we would not. We don’t patch asterisk for vendor specific items.
