Cisco SPA 303 / line indicator when network is down

My client used to have Vonage. When the internet or phone network is down, the line indicator on the phone turn to amber/orange. It’s a nice feature letting them know phone lines are dead. It doesn’t do this when I switch them over to Freepbx. Any idea how I can achieve this. It’s most likely a setting on the phone which is a Cisco SPA 303.

The line indicator on the phone reflects the connection to the provider, in your new case FreePBX, you will need to monitor up line connectivity elsewhere.
