Cisco 7960 phones - Number not in service

Hi,

Asterisk 11.8.1
FreePBX 2.11.0.37
Network 192.168.0.0/24

When using Cisco 7960 phones (P0S3-8-12-00 firmware) I’m seeing the following, and the phones get the “The number you have dialled is not in service” message

– Executing [*97@from-sip-external:1] NoOp(“SIP/192.168.0.9-00000004”, “Received incoming SIP connection from unknown peer to *97”) in new stack

However, if I call the Cisco extension from a softphone it will ring.

On the same server, same network using various 3cx softphones everything works as it should to extensions and outbound calls.
They show slightly differently in the log…

Executing [*97@from-internal:1] Answer(“SIP/6000-00000006”, “”) in new stack

After a few weeks reading various forums etc I’m about to give up!
Qualify = yes is set
in the Cisco SipDefault.cfg I have proxy_register: “1” set

More info available, but not sure what else is required

Thanks for the help

John

Also, in case it matters, running Cisco Firmware P0S3-8-12-00

Problem sorted, looks like the firmware wasn’t all it said it was. Found another copy of P0S3-8-12-00 and flashed a few other phones now it works fine (apart from a new problem which I think is RTP / NAT related)

@bbjunkie Hey, I am having an incoming 404 issue with a 7960 sitting behin NAT, did you sort it out?
