I switched to an old Yealink T38G, only to have that phone do a weird static/buzzing thing, so I was forced to switch back to the Cisco… ;(

We run both the Cisco and Yealinks here, I only kept the Cisco in play due to the sheer number of them that were previously deployed, and I would concur with most others in that you should migrate to another manufacture for handsets. The Cisco, in a non SCCP mode, can be quite challenging to maintain and support where the Yealinks have proven to be, for us, very reliable and easy to manage.
We do have the logo working for the 794x’s and did this using an EPM template, works very well.
