I am new PBX and Cisco phones so please bear with me.
I running AsteriskNOW 2.0 with CentOS 5.8 on a Linux virtual machine.
My aim is to add a Cisco 7920 to the asterisk server using the built in tftp so it works over SIP.
I have checked the tftp server is running and pointed the phone to the server IP address. I have also configured the SEPDefault.cnf.xml and SEP.cnf.xml to point at the asterisk server
However the phone gets caught in a loop - at the bottom of the display it says connecting to “CallManager 0” then “CallManager 1” then “CallManager 5”.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
