Cisco 504g phones - ext works but OTHER sidecars showing red light for extension

Have an office with approx 15 phones. Each phone has a sidecar. All other extensions are showing properly (green lights when not in use, red lights when in use) except for one extension, which, while working fine, is showing as busy on all other phone sidecars… anyone have any ideas?

Running hosted freepbx 2.9.x.x

Thanks,

Brandon

Do you have the sidecar set to the correct type of phone system?

they are all set to asterisk

What is the state of the asterisk hints showing for the various extensions including the problematic one?

Also, what are all of these *84xxx extensions? I don’t have any extensions that start with *84…

Thanks for all the help, I’m a newbie to the Asterisk/FreePBX world.

OK so extn’s 103 and 104 are in use and 101 is on hold. Which extension appears to be the problematic one?

Re *84xxx extensions - as far as I’m aware these are “Camp-On” feature code hints, automatically created by FreePBX so that you can assign a BLF key to subscribe to the state of a Camp-On request. See link
