CID issue

Hi,

Recently started working with FreePBX and asterisk. I have gotten everything to work except one small detail that I was hoping to get some help with.

Setup:
2 phone numbers
2 trunks

Issue:

When I dial out from an extension I get the display name that I set in the extension under Outbound CID but not the number. The format I used is:
“Name”

The number that displays is from trunk 1, the name is from the extension. The number from the extension just seems to get overwritten. I have been trying to find a solution for it but have not found anything yet relating to my issue. Any help would be appreciated.

You can only set CallerID on trunks that allow it, do yours so allow ?

The trunk does allow it, both of them do. It’s a babytel trunk and I have the exact same setup to compare it to. I am just not very familiar with it and have done quite a bit of research and starting to run out of ideas. :\
