CID incosistance - BUG

The documentation tells us if we put a CID into the Trunk Configuration it should take precedence and then overwrite any CID comming form the Extension or anywhere else.

In reality, I have a CID for all my extension like 1001, 1002… and a CID for all my trunk like 613-555-1234 and if I call someone on the PSTN the CID they see is my extension “1001” instread of the CID number I placed in the trunk.

I think it is a bug…

If I dont understand something, please let me know.

Thanks.

Please file bugs on the bug tracker: http://freepbx.org/trac/newticket.
Be sure to search for an existing bug first. It would also be useful to
include verbose asterisk CLI output (eg, asterisk -rvvvvvvvvv) while
making a call that is affected by the problem.
