I am having trouble with choppy audio on system recordings like voicemail and ivr. I am running FreePBX on a dedicated machine I get the choppy audio on both an ATA and Soft phones I have even tried connecting the ATA directly to the server and still get the choppy audio so it is not a network issue. Outgoing calls are fine no choppy audio.
Sounds like the recordings are messed up or you are getting some kind of transcoding problem.
Tell us how you created the recordings and we might be able to make some suggestions.
