Choose outbound dial number by extensions(have done some searched)

My IPpbx is elastix,and i have searched the web and read elastix without tears the whole day but didn’t find the answer for this simple question!

Basically I want to assign a POTS number to different group of extensions,and i don’t need to choose different line when dialed. Can i do it in outbound route section?Thanks

I’m thinking assign different identifier the numbers before “|” for difference department when dial.

you could put each of the extensions into the last part of the outbound route pattern match (/XXX) - which is ok to do if your number of extensions is minimal.

Better would be to use the (free) module to allow certain extension access to only certain outbound routes. “Extension routing” I think is the name of the module
