Change Caller ID for Paging

Has anyone tried to change the caller ID for the PAGE Application? There´s already a post on this but that didn´t work for me since the function´s php file has change since. Does anyone have any comments on this?

  1. Create a Paging group: admin/config.php?display=paging&action=add
  2. Create a CallerID from admin/config.php?display=setcid selecting the Paging group as destination
  3. Create a Misc Destination admin/config.php?display=miscapps selecting the CallerID as destination

Now, dial the feature code from step 3

If You need to change the CallerID from 50 intercom extensions… Maybe You can go crazy… But for some extensions this could be a simple, quick and dirty solution.

OkOk I see what you mean. Turns out I´m running Version 2.8 and I don´t have the CallerID application. Do you happen to know how to do this by console? :confounded:

Go it working. I just changed the app at the extensions_custom so it could Set the CallerID I wanted. The only problem is that it has to be manage through the context and changes through the Web interface won´t apply.
