CDRs and what do people use for billing on SIP

Hi All
I am new to SIP and VOIP, I have a pair of Sangoma SBCs. Currently we use Telssis TDM and use CDR files for billing customers and BT, how are people doing this for SIP from the SBCs?

We have been pulling CDRs from the SBCs but we would like at least 2 days worth to stay on the SBC just in case there is a communication problem with the network over a weekend, can I increase the space available on the local storage for more than currently a third of a days worth?
