The problem I am seeing is that ~50% of the calls that come in to the system do not show up in CDR Reports. I checked asteriskcdrdb and can confirm that the system seems to be not writing certain calls to the DB…very weird.
I’m not sure if this is a DB error or something (strange, since some data is there) but does anyone know where I could start to get this operating as expected? Thanks.
Watch Asterisk while you make an inbound call that isn’t getting saved. See any errors or anything?
Do you have a CSV getting saved? PiaF does that by default I believe: /var/log/asterisk/cdr-csv/Master.csv. Maybe check if it’s in there.
i m using astrerisknow 1.8 and install asterisk-add-ons and every thing going well
even the cdr table in asteriskcdrdb is there and all calls inserted to it automatically but when i m looking to master.csv i couldnt found it.
my Question is
where shall i get Master.csv file?
can i create it manually? if yes
what is the procedures that shall i follow ?

As miken32 said the Master.csv is in /var/log/asterisk/cdr-csv.
Check that for any entries that you believe have not been logged in the CDR database. Also check the Asterisk logs in /var/log/asterisk/full and see if there are any errors writing CDR records. Post a part of the log if you find anything.
