CDR clid syntax Question

Hello,

In my cdr reports some numbers listed under Caller ID have the form:

“[V] NXXNXXXXXX”

Can someone explain what the V in brackets means? I’ve searched the CDR documentation but have not found any detail.

Thanks

It is put there by the network, not by Asterisk, and typically indicates a STIR/SHAKEN Verified caller ID.

CID for inbound calls comes from the provider, so this is a question for them, but this thread may help

Thanks for the helpful info.
