I’m new to FreePBX. I have my trunk registered with Flowroute.
I’m seeing my phone as registered, can receive incoming call but cannot dial out.
This is what my log file is saying;
[2013-02-08 16:24:30] NOTICE[1846] chan_sip.c: Registration from ‘sip:[email protected] ’ failed for ‘192.168.0.17:5060’ - Wrong password
[2013-02-08 16:24:37] NOTICE[1846][C-00000006] chan_sip.c: Failed to authenticate device “payapp” sip:[email protected] ;tag=58ABAA35-439ADEA4
[2013-02-08 16:25:25] NOTICE[1846] chan_sip.c: Registration from ‘sip:[email protected] ’ failed for ‘192.168.0.17:5060’ - Wrong password
Any ideas?

Wrong password for device payapp!! maybe you should be using a FreePBX known extension and not payapp on your phone…

Thanks for the comment. I changed the extension and no change. I can receive a call but I can’t send a call. I get “your call cannot be completed as dailed”. I’m dialing 1+AC+PN. Any help is appreciated.

Doesn’t look like you have a matching outbound route.
Honestly I think you are missing some basic concepts. Have you read any getting started guides?

OK, I can now call in from my cell phone and call long distance but I can’t call a local number. Flowroute uses e.164 standards.
Sugestions?

e164 requires that you dial the whole number, prepend your countrycode and areacode to localnumbers in your outbound route.
Again as Scott asked, “Have you read any getting started guides?”
