Can't find logs anymore and the log I can find is littered with [freepbx.INFO]: Deprecated way to add Console commands for module backup, adding console commands this way can have negative performance impacts. Please use module.xml

My system has upgraded the log view, but the new log view won’t allow me to see the old logs, and the new default log freepbx.log is littered with [freepbx.INFO]: Deprecated way to add Console commands for module backup, adding console commands this way can have negative performance impacts. Please use module.xml.

A cause for concern or not?

You don’t say what log you’re looking for but I assume this is your issue: Bug in Asterisk Logfiles Module ver 15.0.4

I have a similar problem with 15.0.16.72 (raspbx latest version of FreePBX). I only found it when tracing another issue. Every single minute on the minute I get the following logged in /var/log/asterisk/freepbx.log

Sorry, just trying to view the default Asterisk/Freepbx logs that used to load when you click “asterisk logfiles”. I upgraded to edge but still the “full” logfile is empty. which is a pain because I’m still trying to debug this issue which has suddenly reared its ugly head again :frowning:

You should be on logfiles module ver 15.0.7 and have applied config after the upgrade. If you are up to date and the Asterisk full log is still not being populated, browse to Settings, Asterisk Logfile Settings and ensure full and console look like this

Yes, it does look like that, but still empty log file. I think that update has caused quite a bit of problems because on another system where the priority update didn’t break logging, it has turned the log viewing window into a much smaller rectangle.
Thanks for the help
