I have been Blacklisting so many IP’s that have been attempting to hack my system. But, there is an IP (192.168.1.103) that is a local IP scheme that I can’t ban. It is not my local IP scheme so shouldn’t be considered. I have added it to the blacklist and I still get it attempting to access my system. Fail2Ban is catching it but I want it stopped. Any suggestions on what I can do?
Possibly you have your whole LAN 192.168.1.0/24 in fail2ban’s ‘ignoreip’ that would prempt.

There is basically zero chance that it is actually coming from that IP
