i’m running a trixbox and for some reason, i can receive inbound calls just fine…i cannot make outgoing calls…
i can call extensions in the office just fine…
a few quirks:
- broadvox, who provides the trunk, does not ever see that an outbound call has been made…they don’t even see it…but they can see that the registration is working fine, it’s coming from the correct IP, and they see inbound calls going in
- if i switch the IP address to something slightly different than the static IP in place now, outbound calls will work, but not inbound…it is a NETGEAR VPN router…all necessary firewall rules have been inputed and rechecked…
- this was working yesterday…no changes other than IPs and firewall rules have been made
- the call log in the trixbox doesn’t show an outbound call was even attempted…it logs calls to extensions just fine…
- it IMMEDIATELY says “all circuits are busy now…please try your call again later”
it is as if the phone itself is blocking outbound calls…but it will ring if someone outside calls in…
any ideas about what i can do to fix this?
