Cannot hear ringback tones from the Telco

I have recently upgraded my FreePBX system from Asterisk1.4 to Asterisk1.6, and moved from Zaptel to DAHDI.

I am using a Sangoma PRI card for local calls.

The problem is that when a call from the asterisk system is made to someone who has custom ringback tones. (Mobile phones). The originating caller hears only silence until the call is answered.

This problem came immediately after the upgrade.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I added

exten => s,n,Answer()

in the dial trunk macro before
it dials the number.

You can do the same thing by playing a blank recording on a channel before handing it off to the next step in the FreePBX dial plan.
