Cannot connect to online repository

Hi I am running Asterisk 1.4 and FreePBX1.4 and I cannot seem to upgrade the modules from the GUI.
I can get to the mirror by using a web browser on the same machine. I do connect through a proxy (Squid) for http traffic. Running /var/lib/asterisk/bin/module_admin listonline results in Unsupported operand types in module_admin line 142

Is this the proxy that’s getting in the way and can I configure this to use the http_proxy settings?

There are several possible issues.

The most common one is DNS (whihc you seem to not have a problem with), next is firewall content filtering. double check your firewall and disable any content filtering options and try again.

Thanks to test this I turned the firewall off to no avail.
I can force the issue by running import.sh from admin/modules
