I am trying to setup FreePBX on a fresh Xubuntu/Asterisk install. Everything worked fine until I actually login to my system through FreePBX. It seems that FreePBX can’t connect to the Asterisk Manager. The red “You have made changes” bar is always at the top and if I click on it the following shows up at the bottom of the screen:
Cannot connect to Asterisk Manager with admin/amp111
This also comes up if I try to go into the Extensions module.
I have verified that /etc/asterisk/manager.conf and /etc/amport.conf have the same user/password as is listed. I have tried starting up Asterisk with amportal start, no difference. Any suggestions?
