Cannot adjust ring timer

general settings >ring timer
Went from FreePBX 2.5.1.5 to FreePBX 2.5.1.5
changing general settings >ring timer would adjust the number of ring before VM pickup now no joy.

So… what the fix?

Trying adjusting bothe the general settings ring timer and the ext ring timer and even reboots has no effect.

whats the problem ? does the VM answer or not or does it just carry on ringing ?
