Can not connect to Asterisk

I just installed FreePBX and when I log into FreePBX Administration panel I got this message in top right corner. I don’t know where exactly to check and what.

Please help me on this one.

I download tar … the untar it and ./install -n

After this I edit amportal.conf and manager.conf.

What told you to edit those files. FreePBX doesn’t read amportal.conf. EG it’s read only.

I’ve adding there Asterisk Manager credentials

ASTMANAGERHOST=localhost
AMPMGRPASS=mypassword
AMPMGRUSER= myuser

Ok, I don’t know how but after few reboots/reload etc finally freepbx is connected to asterisk.

Never edit amportal.conf. Freepbx does not read that file at all
