Calling Out Help Please

Hello All,

I have two (what I think are simple) goals I’m tasks I’m attempting to complete with FreePBX and Asterisk 11.

  1. I would like to be able to dial a number and not have to press the “send” or “#” key to send the call. All my internal numbers (ring groups, extensions, etc) are 4 digits. All outgoing calls start with 9.

  2. When calling internally, how do I get the called extensions name to appear on the calling phone’s display?

1 - Program the dial plan properly in your unnamed mystery phone
2 - Turn on RPID, if your mystery phone supports it

Thanks! I was able to get the RPID turned on and it worked like a charm. Still working on the dial plan.

I apologize I’m using Cisco SPA942’s & SPA962’s.
