Caller position announcement and Queue Position announcement only work when MOH is selected in a queue

Hi,

Is there a way to change the following behavior in Queues - Caller position announcement and Queue Position announcement only work when MOH is selected in a queue. Is there a way to make this work when a ringing is used instead of MOH.

I believe that may be a limitation from Asterisk although I’ve never considered that situation. If you really need that behavior, you could just have MoH that sounds like ringing. But if someone is going to be in a queue long enough to need these announcements, do you really want it ringing vs. music?

Is there any other way to get the “Caller Position” and “Wait time” Announcements in the queue module to work with “Ringing Tone” selected.

I am using the latest version of Trixbox CE Asterisk 1.4.17-1
