Caller position announce on beginning

My call flow is: Inbound → Queues

Queues have 3 Queues Agents in static list.

How to Announce Caller Position on beginning?
(1st ring > pickup > announce position > ring agent)

Caller position announce is set to 15 sec, i need to wait 15 sec to hear announce position.

Please help

Put in the announce prior to hitting the queue formally. This requires you to build using dial plan.

Calling ext-queues-custom

It seems I’ve figured this out. I saw others asking a simialar question, including here: http://freepbx.org/forum/overriding-extensions-additional-with-extensions-custom What I really need is an override, so extensions_override_freepbx.conf does the trick. I just add this line to dial plan for my queue extension: exten => 480,n,System(/var/lib/asterisk/om-bin/queue-alert.py ${CALLERID(num)}) right before it goes to: exten => 480,n,Queue(480,t,) So my override of extension 480 means I nee…
