Caller Name ID for called extension not displayed on phone

Hi everyone,

We running on FreePBX 13.0.188.8 and using Grandstream GXP2140 phones. A concern has been brought up regarding the fact that when we call an extension from our phones, it only shows calling and the extension. Is there a way to pass the name as well as the extension so it displayed both on the phone.

FYI, the users receiving the call are seeing the name and extension of the person who is calling.

Hello,

Set your extensions rpid to pai (rpid=pai).
In the Freepbx extensions settings it is: Send RPID to Send P-Asserted-Identity header

Hi Daniel, thanks for the quick reply. Can this change be done in the Freepbx Web UI or does it need to be put into extensions.conf?
