Call waiting signal beep

Hi,

Is there a way to configure the frequency of the beep for notification of waiting call.
There to many beep and I can’t understand the first conversation.
I know how to disable it but to get fewer beep less frequent?

There are many other, IMHO better solutions than Call Waiting. I (personally) disable it on all of my extensions by default. If you are in a conversation with someone, you should focus on that conversation. If someone else calls, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to send them immediately to Voice Mail or route them to another extension.

Personal preference, of course, but trying to get into the guts of the system to change something fundamental like this is a lot of work for a feature that (frankly) was a bad idea back in the '70s.
