How can i get a call waiting indication , preferably tone to the caller , say exten A calls exten B and have a conversation , than exten C calls exten A ,i need that exten C should now that exten A is currently on the phone talking , but will still wait for exten A if it wants to answer the call.

thanks for your replay , but when a call enters a queue ,the called exten doesn’t know it has a call wating to be answered , only when the extension ends the call will the second call kickin.
If the operator has an Aastra phone with Queue module, is running Xactview, iSymphone or FOP2 on their computer, or you use the queue show command, you can see the calls in the queue and how long they have been holding.
You should be looking at the abandoned rate and reason on a daily basis as management metrics.
Are you looking for an audible change in the ring tone for the caller, like some wireless carriers have their switches? So when you call someone that is already in a conversation you the caller get a ring followed by a quick beep?
