Hi Guys

Is is possible to make a call return to the extension that transferred it if the person is busy or no answer etc?

I cant seem to find a way to do this?

Consider you call volume carefully if you figure out how to implement this. Typically transferring a call is to hand it off completely. Parking and paging would ring the call back to the operator after a timeout.

you could use vmx locator, where the caller couls press 1 at the vm greeting to be transferred to the operator.

personally i can’t think of a scenario where what you are requesting would be efficient… but perhaps someone here can help.

this is handy because if a user is transferring to someone else and they are not avail it should return.

is this a possibility?

FreePBX does not support this feature. Each extension has it’s own no answer destination.
