Hi, I installed a new ssd in Asterisk. How call recordings can I change in Freepbx? Let the recordings go to the ssd I just added

There is probably a few different ways to do this but the easiest would be to mount the new SSD storage over the default directory where recordings are being stored.

This would involve modifying the fstab file with the appropriate variables for your hardware. I believe the default recording directory is /var/spool/asterisk/monitor

Another way would be to mount the SSD under a different new folder (something like /mnt/recordings) and modifying the settings to tell FreePBX to use this new directory/mount point. The instructions for that are found here.

Just keep in mind that you’ll still have to modify the fstab appropriately to mount the new SSD automatically on each reboot of the system.
