I have a new client that is looking to have the ability to record an entire call if specified at any point during the call. I know I can just record all calls but that can get pretty big… Has anyone seen the ability to maybe record the call to begin with but if there is no *1 entered during the call then the system will dump the recording? Thoughts? Please and Thanks!
I’m sure you could manually configure that as a feature code or something (you’ll have to see what more knowledgeable people say about that though).
However, I’d argue that they shouldn’t be getting “pretty big”, hard drives are cheap, space is plenty, I’ve seen older systems archive a stupid amount of recordings (and seen others that will offload them and process them into MP3s to save a ton of space).
