Call Recordings via rest or AMI

Is it possible to pull call recordings over a Rest Interface or AMI?

I had a look at https://wiki.freepbx.org/display/FPG/REST+API but it appears this does not work from remote origins.

Not at this time.

Shame. I am guessing at this stage the only option is to use a Post Call Recording Script to POST the recording on hangup?
