Call recording

Hello, I have two questions:

  1. What if one extension has call recording feature Force and another extension has Never. If they call each other will the call be recorded or not?
  2. What if for each step of call flow call recording setting is Don’t care. Will that call be recorded or not?

This paragraph should answer both of your questions:

You can think of “Force” as meaning “Start or resume recording now,” and “Never” as meaning “Stop recording now.” The “Don’t Care” options means, “Don’t change anything right now.”

You can also set ‘Settings’ → ‘Advanced Settings’ → Dialplan and Operational’ → ‘Call Recording Policy’ to either ‘Caller’ or ‘Callee’, depending on whose policy should be superior.
