Call recording format change - converted recordings do not show up in CDR reports


Earlier we were using wav format for call recordings. And these recordings were taking up lot of space. We now changed the recording format to WAV(wav49) which occupies less space.

Now, I want to convert the files recorded earlier in wav format to WAV format and I was able to do so using “Sox”. However, these converted WAV recordings do not show up in the CDR reports within Freepbx Gui.

Please advise.


Correct as they are looking for the file name as it was recorded at the time the call came in and was recorded.
