Hi, is it possible to change the date that calls are archived? I’ve seen a cron job for php /var/lib/asterisk/agi-bin/backuprecordings.php which is run on the 1st of each month. Changing this or running manually results in the following:
/bin/tar: backup1.tar: Cannot open: Too many levels of symbolic links
/bin/tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
Could anyone assist and let me know if this can be run manually?
I am using Call Recordings temporarily for 2 days at a customer with relatively low to moderate call volume and we are recording all recordings in and out to test for call quality between the system and the remote sites.
Rather than waiting for the proverbial “oops” and ASS-U-ME that the call recordings will be automatically maintained, I’d prefer to know for sure.
Is there a retention policy in place in the latest Call Recordings module with FreePBX? Or is there another module that will need to be used to maintain these reocrdings? Or would I need to set up my own scripts to maintain these files according to our preferences?
