Call Monitor link in Recordings show no files

Hi,
Recordings are succussfully created in the /var/spool/asterisk/monitor directory but they do not show up in ARI (http://myserver/recordings ->Call Monitor). I just upgraded to AsteriskNow 1.5 (using asterisk 1.4.26.2 and freepbx 2.5.2) in hopes it would fix but no dice. I have also checked permissions on the directory and user and group are both ‘asterisk’. Can anyone suggest anything I can try or confirm? thanks mucho.

Me again… Would this have anything to do with CDR and/or MYSQL and uniqueid? I found some information on this but it seems dated to version 1.2.x of Asterisk. I yum installed asterisk-addons-1.4.9 but do not know what to do after that. I dont see anything in Module Admin regarding CDR or Mysql. I do know that mysql is installed but cannot find information on enabling cdr on my version. I created a cdr table and added ‘load cdr_addon_mysql.so’ to modules.conf. Kind of lost here… thanks.

after the described changes, a reboot, make a call and record and it’s all working… Hope all this helps someone :slight_smile:

I’m in the same boat, but can’t wrap your head around what it is that you said worked to fix it. I’m assuming it has to do with installing CDR as seen in the article below:

http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+cdr+mysql

Is that right?

I’m a little confused as to what you did to solve the problem.

Thanks for any insight you can provide!

I yum installed asterisk-addons-1.4.9 and a reboot. And, yes, that is the URL i was looking at, too.

and added ‘load cdr_addon_mysql.so’ to modules.conf

That seemed to work perfectly. Calls are listing in ARI now, but the audio files aren’t linking up in the “Monitor” column. However, I found another thread that I’m pursuing that problem on.

Thanks for your help!

that the audio files are created? look in /var/spool/asterisk/monitor dir for .wav files. If they’re there, then check asterisk.conf for pointer:
astspooldir => /var/spool/asterisk

this should also appear in amportal.conf near the bottom in /etc dir (not /etc/asterisk)

I am Using FreePbx 2.7 and asterisk 1,6 and

When IVR answers a call and dial any extension number the call does not appear in the freePbx> recordings > Monitor to be listening

please any one can help or has any idea with this issue

I will pay support if help me to fix this problem regards

Have you tried the steps listed in the previous posts? Is voicemail enabled and setup on the extensions?

I all ready check

astspooldir => /var/spool/asterisk

this should also appear in amportal.conf near the bottom in /etc dir (not /etc/asterisk

But the problem still when incoming call answered by the IVR and the person hits a to reach a ring group and the the attendant transfer it to another extension this calls get recorded in /var/spool/asterisk/monitor but in call monitor there not show the link to play or download such call.
