I’ve attempted to setup call forwarding on some Polycom phones in my office and am a bit thrown by the functionality. whether I use the “Forward” soft key on the Polycom phone or the feature codes (*72 and *73) the forwarding results in the incoming caller ending up at the destination’s voicemail mailbox. For example, a caller enters extension 100. Extension 100 has been forwarded to 102 because the person at 100 is in a meeting at 102’s office. Any resulting voicemail would end up in 102’s mailbox.
It seems to me that this should be an optional behavior. Does anybody know how I might accomplish this?
