Call dropping when going to voicemail (when recording enabled)

I know there was an old thread http://www.freepbx.org/forum/freepbx/users/freepbx-drops-calls-when-going-to-voicemail

however this seems a) slightly different and b) that thread was 4+ years old and related to a different problem as far as I can see.

We have a call queue which is set to record in wav format, and on no answer go to voicemail.

As soon as the call exits to voicemail it simply drops.

If I turn off recording on the queue then the call lands in voicemail quite happily

This has been entirely configured through the GUI with no local tweaks

Any suggestions?

I, too, am having this issue - frustrating.
Anyone got any ideas to fix?
