Call disconnects when pressing * during IVR


I’ve posted this in the Asterisk forum but seem to have stalled on help and suggestions. Please see the original thread here for system specs and additional info:

I thought perhaps this was an Asterisk issue as opposed to a FreePBX issue, hence the reason I posted in the Asterisk forum first, however, if someone knows different please let me know.

The issue I have is that when presented with the option to press * during a call, such as in an IVR, the call disconnects.

I’ve used the command ‘features show’ at the CLI and checked that ‘disconnect’ is set to **, not *.

This is the output of /etc/asterisk/features_featuremap_additional.conf

Can anyone suggest a solution or fix for this?

Just in case anyone was following this, it’s now fixed. Turned out to be a provider issue. They had it set to disconnect on pressing *, which has now been removed.
