Well that is … odd. Compare the output of the following using two different extension numbers in place of the x’s, one extension that works and one that doesn’t:

asterisk -x "database show AMPUSER xxx/recording"

[root@ ~]# asterisk -x “database show AMPUSER 199/recording”
/AMPUSER/199/recording :
/AMPUSER/199/recording/in/external : “dontcare”
/AMPUSER/199/recording/in/internal : “dontcare”
/AMPUSER/199/recording/ondemand : “disabled”
/AMPUSER/199/recording/out/external : “dontcare”
/AMPUSER/199/recording/out/internal : “dontcare”
/AMPUSER/199/recording/priority : “0”
7 results found.
[root@ ~]# asterisk -x “database show AMPUSER 150/recording”
/AMPUSER/150/recording :
/AMPUSER/150/recording/in/external : “dontcare”
/AMPUSER/150/recording/in/internal : “dontcare”
/AMPUSER/150/recording/ondemand : “disabled”
/AMPUSER/150/recording/out/external : “dontcare”
/AMPUSER/150/recording/out/internal : “dontcare”
/AMPUSER/150/recording/priority : “0”
7 results found.

On my 13 system, the recording values are stored without quotes:

/AMPUSER/9999/recording :
/AMPUSER/9999/recording/in/external : dontcare
/AMPUSER/9999/recording/in/internal : dontcare
/AMPUSER/9999/recording/ondemand : disabled
/AMPUSER/9999/recording/out/external : dontcare
/AMPUSER/9999/recording/out/internal : dontcare
/AMPUSER/9999/recording/priority : 10

The quotes on your system, are messing up your call flow. How were the extensions created? If you resubmit the extension do the recording values get fixed?

This Extension is working.

[root@EJ ~]# asterisk -x “database show AMPUSER 105/recording”
/AMPUSER/105/recording :
/AMPUSER/105/recording/in/external : dontcare
/AMPUSER/105/recording/in/internal : dontcare
/AMPUSER/105/recording/ondemand : disabled
/AMPUSER/105/recording/out/external : dontcare
/AMPUSER/105/recording/out/internal : dontcare
/AMPUSER/105/recording/priority : 10

I see you are using an ancient version of Asterisk, unless you have a need to stay on 11.16, I recommend you change to 13:
https://wiki.freepbx.org/display/PPS/Changing+Major+Asterisk+Versions+on+the+Fly

I create the Extension via FreePBX GUI.

It seem like when even i create or Update any existing Extension this will happen.

how to i make sure the quotes; dont appear using FreePBX GUI?

I Updated Asterisk to 13. Tried creating a new extension. Problem still exist.

Asterisk 13.9.1 built by mockbuild @ jenkins2.schmoozecom.net on a i686 running Linux on 2016-05-13 20:15:50 UTC

[root@ ~]# asterisk -x “database show AMPUSER 2000/recording”
/AMPUSER/2000/recording :

You are still way behind. What ver of the distro are you running?

cat /etc/schmooze/pbx-version

[]# cat /etc/schmooze/pbx-version
6.12.65-26

Your a bit behind. Get a solid backup and bring your distro to current by running the scripts individually starting at the -27 upgrde here:
https://wiki.freepbx.org/display/PPS/FreePBX-Distro-6.12.65

Once you’ve made it to 10.13 then you need to update using these scripts:
https://wiki.freepbx.org/display/PPS/FreePBX-Distro-10.13.66

do u have a good instruction for doing a solid backup?

https://wiki.freepbx.org/display/FPG/Using+the+Backup+module

edit - For clarification, I don’t know what is causing quotes to be written to your Asterisk database, only that I can’t reproduce it on an up-to-date system, nor am I aware of any other reports. Updating the system to current is a reasonable first step in the debug process, tho I can’t say it will solve the problem here.

Noted. Thanks! i am now trying to Update the system. the FreePBX GUI seem to be adding the quotes once i submit in GUI

During Upgrade i keep having this dialplan error. is it ok?

You can remove with

fwconsole ma delete sng_mcu
