Definitively the “fwconsole bi” does not work for contacts, the option “type=contacts” gives error.
Good news is that from the web consolle I have been able to import a file of '000s of names, just to bec careful there are no error in the formatting as it can fail silently without giving an error that you can troubleshoot.
