Bria Softphone on IOS/Andriod & FreePBX

We have a FreePBX 13 Install. Running PJSIP and in the office environment we have Desk phones hooked up direct.

Occasionally as I am traveling though I want to be able to dial out via a softphone on my Iphone. The issue is the responsive firewall of course blocks the connection as it is an unknown IP.

Is there a easy way to configure things to be able to connect in a more reliable way? Is that how the VPN in FreePBX can help? And if yes what is the easy steps to do that?

The responsive firewall shouldn’t block successful registrations.

I know, that is why I am checking to see if there is some specific config that should be considered.
