It was probably just a coincidence, but I upgraded from FreePBX 2.x to 2.7 over the weekend. Now, I find out that someone has been able to get into my system and make outgoing spam calls.
I’ve added a route to block the area code they were dialing, but, of course, now we’re receiving a bunch of irate phone calls.
Is there anyway I can block incoming calls from a particular area code?
Luckily it is a small number of users, so easy enough to change all the passwords on the extensions, but in the meantime…
