We use a non FreePBX distro. I’m told that res mwi blf cannot be compiled in a non FreePBX distro setup.
Is there a way to create a BLF key on a Polycom phone that will tell you if there is a VM on an extension in the system without having mwi_blf loaded?
I can do it by creating a extension, say 15001 and putting 5001@default in the Mailbox field in the Extension settings, if I want to monitor 5001’s VMs. Then I create an Attendant key in the Polycom config and it works. But this is very cumbersome because I have to put multiple extension registrations on the phone to make it work if I want to monitor multiple extensions.
