BLF CallerID?

Not sure if this is a PBX or Yealink issue, but Yealink has this neat “Visual BLF notification” that pops up when a BLF you’re monitoring rings. The problem is that it reports all incoming calls on this screen as “Unknown.” Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

Yealink support seems to think this is a PBX issue. I did find some documentation on the web about setting:

notifycid=yes

but that doesn’t seem to solve it. Anyone have any other ideas?

If it helps enabling notifycid=yes changed the CID field from “Unknown” to the extension of the local line, which is wrong, but at least its displaying something and perhaps a clue.

Long story short, this is bugged in Asterisk 13. Switching to 11 fixed the issue.
