The freePBX database has a parameter, FPBXOPMODE, normally set to “admin” and which can be set to “basic”. In this case, some pages are simplified, using a different view. Example :
in /var/www/html/admin/modules/ringgroups/views
we find two views :
advanced_form.php
simple_form.php
I find the idea very interesting to offer FreePBX to non specialists. Most users will use only 20% (or less) of the features.
Unfortunately this basic interface exists only for some pages.
Is this project still developed ? We would be interested to participate.
It’s a feature of pbxact. The basic interface features are not exposed in freepbx, tho the modules are open source so you’re free to use it how you wish on your own.

Suppose we develop a simple view for another module, is there a chance that the team of FreePBX may include it in the source ? Because if we develop outside, an update will break the work.
