Bandwidth.com - Configuration help

Hello

Our Freepbx System Build is
FreePBX 2.8.1.1
Asterisk Ver. 1.6.2.11

The system is configured to operate with Freepbx and also IPCommunications, and works very well with both VOIP providers

We are now trialing Bandwidth.com and having problems getting a stable system

Bandwith Trunk Config is as follows

Outgoing
Trunk Name Bandwidth_OUT
host=216.82.224.202
port=5060
type=peer
allow=ulaw
dtmfmode=rfc2833
nat=yes
fromuser=+1 (our phone number)
qualify=yes

Incomming
Trunk Name Bandwidth_IN
host=216.82.224.202
port=5060
type=peer
allow=ulaw
dtmfmode=rfc2833
reinvite=no
canreinvite=no
context=from-pstn
nat=yes
qualify=yes

Outbound Route
Dial Patterns that will use this Route
(+) + 7 [.]
(Basically to add the + and use 7 for the outside line)

Outbound calls work OK, however inbound calls don’t work and don’t register on the asterisk console…

The only possible clue an incoming call is presents is the following which repeats its self twice ??
Using SIP RTP TOS bits 184
Using SIP RTP CoS mark 5
Using SIP RTP TOS bits 184
Using SIP RTP CoS mark 5

Port Forwarding is set up
UDP/5060 -> Forward to PBX Internal Address
UDP/10001-20000 -> Forward to PBX Internal Address

Does anyone have and suggestions on whee the problem may lie ??

Has anyone got a working Bandwith.com setup they can share ?

Thank you
Stephen

You have two duplicate peer designations. This is not required, you only need a sepererate incoming peer if they are different.

You need to turn on SIP debugging and post the output at pastebin.ca for us to look at (do not post long SIP logs in forum).

Turn off verbose and debug so the output is not cluttered.

I am sure we will find that your settings do not match the call the provider is sending you.

Thanks for your reply, i came to test as you requested, and by some miracle its started to work, maybe Bandwith.com reconised there was a problem and fixed their end ??

Anyhow i have removed the duplicate peer as you suggested, and it still work…(I was following Bandwith.Com’s asterisk config, which shows 2 peers)

Will monitor if i still have problems post back the log as requested

Thanks again
Stephen
