Backup & Restore Question

When restoring a backup, I know it is important to be on the same version of FreePBX. However, is it necessary to be on the same version of the distro? If both distro versions have the same version of FreePBX.

I searched through previous posts and could not find a clear answer.

The Distro Version and FreePBX Version are seperate. If your backing up and restoring to the same FreePBX version you should be fine.
