Backup cron directory

Hi,
I am trying to backup the cron directory but i get
"rsync: change_dir “/var/spool/cron” failed: Permission denied (13)
rsync error: some files/attrs were not transferred (see previous errors) (code 23) at main.c(1052) [sender=3.0.9]"
Any ideas

Edit: I alrady tried fwconsole chown with no success

Only root can access that directory.

So that means that its not possible to backup the cron directory from the Freepbx gui ?!!

Not easily anyway, but I have to ask “Why do you want to do that?” the contents of that directory have nothing that changes very often and you can dump the crontabs with

crontab -u asterisk -l

there might also be some “at queues” but they are likely not very useful after a restore.
